American Pediatric Surgical Nurses Association and The Hendren Project Form Partnership for Pediatric Surgical Nursing

The Hendren Project (THP) and the American Pediatric Surgical Nurses Association (APSNA) announce a collaborative agreement to strengthen and broaden the pediatric surgical care community. APSNA and THP share a complementary vision to educate pediatric surgical medical professionals and patient families by effectively using innovative technologies and digital resources.

APSNA Annual Meeting 2016

This year is APSNA’s 25th Annual conference. The Program Committee has selected APSNA at 25 years: Honoring the Past, Treasuring the Present, and Shaping the Future to showcase history, current, and future state of pediatric surgical nursing.  The conference is intended for a dynamic, growing body of members representing various nursing roles including bedside nurses, operating room nurses, advanced practice nurses, nurse managers, and educators.

Exstrophy Boot Camp 2014 for Nurses

Nurse's Exstrophy Bootcamp 2014 was an intense, 1-day course sponsored by the Charlotte Bloomberg Children’s Center of the Johns Hopkins Hospital, Baltimore, MD on May 14, 2014. The course took a look at the modern-day management of bladder exstrophy and included lectures on:
