- A 9-month-old girl with Trisomy 21 has worsening non-bilious emesis over 5 days, superimposed on chronic vomiting and failure to thrive, diagnosed as gastro-esophageal reflux disease.
- She is dehydrated. Abdomen is benign.
- Labs: severe hypochloremic, hypokalemic metabolic alkalosis.
