Case Summary

• 15 yo female patient, an immigrant from Peru (9 months previously).
• Presented to ED with enlarging suprasternal mass, painful, present for 2 years
• U/S performed
• Treated with 10 days of Clavulin

Case Background

• 27 week + 3 days Di-di twin female
• Born via emergent C-section for pre-eclampsia
• Mild feeding intolerance and abdominal distension, worsened DOL #24
• NEC 2A diagnosed based on labs and imaging
• Started on IV antibiotics (Pip->Tazo), bowel rest
