Most of us will agree that the COVID-19 pandemic has changed the face of pediatric surgery education. But the pandemic has also challenged us to find innovative ways of sharing our educational journey, no matter where in the world we find ourselves. On Thursday, October 7, at 7:30 am ET (11:30 am GMT), Sherif Emil, M.D., will speak at the pediatric surgery grand rounds at Montreal Children's Hospital on the topic of globalizing surgical education. Dr. Emil will discuss important topics, including training exchanges, online surgical education, and shared learning experiences.

The Hendren Project is honored that Dr. Emil acepted our request to broadcast his presentation live on The Hendren Project. This special presentation on a vitally important topic is open to all registered users of The Hendren Project. We urge you to spend some time with us on Thursday and learn from Dr. Emil's presentation. Dr. Emil is an expert on the globalization of pediatric surgical education and has extensive direct experience on the topic. He serves as Chief Editor of the well-attended THP Abdominal Wall Defects Webinar series.

Can’t make the date? The presentation will be archived on The Hendren Project for viewing later on this web page.
