American College of Surgeons Honors W. Hardy Hendren, M.D., as Icon in Surgery

In October 2016, The American College of Surgeons (ACS) honored the life and accomplishments of W. Hardy Hendren, M.D., as one of its Icons in Surgery during the ACS Clinical Congress 2016, held in Washington, DC.

A video to commemorate the honor was developed by the ACS Committee on Video-Based Education and was presented at Clinical Congress. The video is also available below.
